These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in events, programs, and activities organized by the Wolfville Social Club (“the Club,” “we,” “our,” “us”), as well as your use of our website, social media, and online content.
By purchasing a ticket, donating, volunteering, attending an event, or accessing our online materials, you agree to the following terms.
1. General Participation
The Wolfville Social Club reserves the right to make reasonable changes to event schedules, venues, programming, or advertised content as required. Attendees, participants, and online visitors are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and safe manner, both in person and online. The Club may refuse admission or remove individuals whose conduct is unsafe, discriminatory, or disruptive, without refund.
2. Website and Online Content
All text, images, graphics, videos, and other materials published on the Club’s website, social media, or advertising platforms are the property of the Wolfville Social Club or are used with permission. These materials may not be reproduced, distributed, or altered without prior written consent. The Club strives to ensure all online information is accurate and current, but we do not guarantee that all content will be free of errors, omissions, or technical interruptions. Links to external websites are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement. The Club is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of third-party sites.
3. Ticketing, Donations, and Refunds
All ticket and donation transactions are final unless an event is cancelled or rescheduled by the Club. In such cases, ticket holders may receive a refund, credit, or exchange as applicable. Lost or stolen tickets cannot be replaced. Please retain your confirmation email or proof of purchase for entry. All prices, dates, and program details are subject to change.
4. Photography, Video, and Promotional Use
By attending a Wolfville Social Club event or appearing in a program, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded. Images and recordings may be used by the Club for archival, promotional, or informational purposes in print, online, and social media formats. Individuals who prefer not to appear in such materials may inform Club staff or volunteers prior to, or during, the event and reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate those wishes.
5. Liability and Assumption of Risk
Attendance at or participation in any Club event is at your own risk. The Club, its directors, volunteers, contractors, and partners are not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to persons or property arising during or as a result of events, programs, or online engagement, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct. The Club makes reasonable efforts to ensure the safety of participants at all venues and online spaces.
6. Accessibility and Inclusion
The Wolfville Social Club is committed to providing accessible and inclusive experiences for all participants and audiences. We welcome individuals of all backgrounds, abilities, and identities, and strive to accommodate accessibility requests wherever possible. Please contact us in advance regarding specific needs or accommodations.
7. Third-Party Services
The Club may use third-party platforms for ticketing, donations, communications, analytics, or online promotion (including, but not limited to, Eventbrite, Mailchimp, Square, Google, and Meta). Your use of these services is also governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. The Club is not responsible for errors, data breaches, or issues arising from external service providers.
8. Intellectual Property
All creative works, branding, images, and materials produced or commissioned by the Wolfville Social Club—including but not limited to posters, digital designs, performance materials, and marketing content—remain the intellectual property of the Club unless otherwise credited or licensed. Permission must be obtained in writing for any reuse, publication, or modification.
9. Policy Updates
The Wolfville Social Club may update these Terms periodically. The most current version will always be available on our website. Continued participation or access to our content after updates are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
